More Pictures and Plans

Well the guys (us) made it to Botswana today. Think the plans are to go hiking tonight before the sun sets... have to also find time to eat. Longer term:
  1. We will start driving ourselves to Maun tomorrow (Saturday).
  2. From there we will stay at a camp in the Okavango Delta (Kwara camp) for 2 days
  3. Next we will fly up to the Chobe National Park where we will stay 3 days at the garden lodge
  4. Take a day trip to Victoria Falls in neighboring Zimbabwe where we will need a visa to enter the country

As becca said someone posted the Africa Blog to Digg.com! Thanks to whomever that was. If you like this site please go to digg using this link and signup and digg us! so that others will have a chance of seeing this site.

So the internet in Botswana is a bit slow, but I managed to get some good photos uploaded...

This will be strange...but I gathered through reading other posts that you work at Exxon in Houston. I'm Becca's sister in law and I go to vet school at Kansas State. One of my friends here at school has a boyfriend named Adam Cosentino who has an internship at Exxon in Houston this summer. I didn't know if you would have any interaction with interns at all...but anyway I just thought it was a great example of what a small world we live in!

Congrats, you have added china to your hits map. Who in Northern Italy do your guys know that is accessing your blog so much? The red dot is the same size as Houston and North Platte. Have fun and don't go swiming in any water holes with big gray lumps in the water or long scaly looking logs. Becca, try to bring home a Cheeta kitten. we can keep it here in Ne. Be safe.. Dad

finally got a chance to read this - I have always wanted to go on an African Safari - but now I really want to go. I'll just have to wait a few years...No matter, you guys have a great time and bring lots of pics. We'll have to get together when you get back. My schedule this semester is a little better than last one so it's up to you and Micah -- Ana
