We are busy doing some last minute pre-planning. One of the items on the list is to understand how to post to the blog ;)See to the right for a map of Botswana, we will be starting off our trip by flying out from Houston, Texas at around 4:30pm local time on Thursday, December 28th. From there we will be ariving in Frankfurt, Germany for a 13 hour layover at which time we are trying to setup some kind of tour to a castle or something to pass the time.
From there we are leaving at night to travel down to Johannesburg, South Africa where we will then jump up to Gaborone, Botswana! Sounds like a 3 day affair just getting there.

Best of luck Becca and her friend I don't know. I'll be thinking about you in the warm, Subsaharan African sun whilist I scrape the ice from my windshield in Duluth. Have a great, rewarding, and educational trip. Aparently you have figured out the blog thing if I am reading and posting on this thing. And for those who have never seen Becca's adventure writings, prepare to be rolling on the floor over the next month.
Portia, I hope you get this. I don't know how to blog. I talked to my friend today and she is leaving today (Wednesday) and her lay over is in London. So I guess you will not be on the same flight. Be safe and have fun!
